Hello Friends.

Below are some amazing classes I will be teaching at the lowest rates ever.

Writing for Everyone with Grammar

This is a combination Writing and Grammar class.

This will be Marcielle’s only class for next semester.

Sentence writing, exercises, how to write a good sentence, a good paragraph, grammar, and vocabulary. We work with fragments, run-on sentences, proper syntax (word order), and more. Two-hour class.

There will be homework, which students can choose to do.

10 am – 12 noon

8 saturdays

Ongoing class. check for info.

Anyone can write well. It just takes practice. We do exercises that
improve our writing style and clarity. We will write sentences and
paragraphs. Using good and poor examples, we discuss what to write
and how to write it. We discuss paragraphs and how to keep to our
topic and communicate with our audience.

There will also be some basic grammar. Sign up now!

Valentine’s Day Peace Project (at Western Justice

We will gathered  to assemble Valentine’s poems and flowers which
some of us distributed to an assisted living facility. Free.
We donated our time to express love to our elders.


Tips for Tutors   March 27, 2010

Marcielle spoke to Whittier Literacy Council on how
their tutors could best work with clients. She used poetry
examples and methods to catch learners’ attention.

March 27, 2010, from 10 am – 12 noon


Open Mic: All Performers Invited

Bring your poems, guitars, friends, and good cheer.
We do open mics at Cafe Culture,  Bean Town, and other venues.


Kid’s Craft Day
2 hours
A materials fee will be requested, but it will be small. (Between $3-$6)
We will have crafts that appeal to children of all faiths and those who are not religious.
Childern are invited to assemble fun crafts. Non-religious crafts. Ages 5- 12.
There will be healthful snacks and at least three responsible adults present. Parents welcome.
